your site took me to a place i had long forgotten in my childhood. you have a gift that is greatly appreciated thank you and blessed be
At first when I created this blog, it was more for personal reasons. It was my sanctuary, a little place of the internet that was my own. I could make it whatever I wanted or needed it to be. And that’s what it still is, only now I’m so happy that I can share it with other people. So other people can be a part of my sanctuary too. I’m so happy that my blog can take people to an entirely different place, a whimsical fairytale land of peace and serenity, even if only for a moment. I know that’s what it does for me. It’s kind of weird to call it a blog, because for me it’s evolved into so much more. Thank you kind anon, and blessings to you as well. <3
"Mature for my age" is an understatement. My soul is thousands of years old.
“Nature teaches more than she preaches. There are no sermons in stones.”
—John Burroughs (via wixxa)
“A tree uses what comes its way to nurture itself. By sinking its roots deeply into the earth, by accepting the rain that flows towards it, by reaching out to the sun, the tree perfects its character and becomes great… Absorb, absorb, absorb. That is the secret of the tree.”
—Deng Ming-Dao (via lucifelle)
“We do not want merely to see beauty… We want something else which can hardly be put into words— to be united with the beauty we see, to pass into it, to receive it into ourselves, to bathe in it, to become part of it. That is why we have peopled the air and earth and water with gods and goddesses and nymphs and elves.”
—C. S. Lewis (via vashti)
